What's New?
In April of 2010, JRD Construction Inc., was awarded the David Sarnoff Collection renovation for
The College of NJ, in Ewing Township. The project will create a new exhibit for the historic Sarnoff
Collection, representing a archives from the early days of television and broadcasting. The project
will be completed in September of 2010.
JRD Construction Inc., is currently constructing several new offices for the Purchasing Department
of Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ. The project began in March, and will be completed by
July.
Acelero Learning, a Head Start program has awarded JRD Construction Inc., a significant contract
to renovate a former public school in Red Bank, NJ. Permits are being filed, and the fast track
project must be complete in time for the upcoming school year. Acelero Learning has requested
additional proposals from JRD Construction Inc., on other projects for the upcoming school year.
The Diocese of Metuchen, Catholic Charities has awarded several renovation projects to JRD
Construction Inc. Continued success has resulted in repeat business, and the business
relationship continues to grow, now in our third consecutive year.
Renovations to the file storage rooms, including the installation of FM 200 fire suppression
systems have been completed for MDS Pharma Services, in Neptune NJ. The design build
contract was completed of the recent holiday break to avoid disruption to the staff and ongoing
activities.
Baxter Healthcare Inc., has awarded JRD Construction Inc., the contract to renovate 45,000 square
feet of an existing office area into a upscale Administrative Office Area. The scope of the work
include high end Millwork, Architectural, and Lighting improvements. This project has been
completed on time, in June of 2009.
JRD Construction Inc., has been award several Dormitory Renovation projects at Drew University
in Madison, NJ. The projects are on schedule for the 2010 school year. The projects include
bathroom and kitchen renovations, as well as interior upgrades to several apartment buildings.
Several projects were recently completed for Monmouth Medical Facility, in Long Branch, NJ.
HVAC upgrades, electrical improvements, interior finishes, and new acoustical ceilings were the
major components of these projects, and were all completed on "off-hours". Significant
renovations have also been completed in the Patient Registration area, on time and budget.
JRD Construction Inc., maintains outstanding relationship with all of their clients, and as a result a
significant back log of work is in place for the upcoming year. These projects include several
office renovations, utility work, and new construction.
